While pure maple syrup is a wonderful sweetener because it isn't processed or refined, using as much as is needed for the MC is like an all you can eat buffet for little yeasties.

If you aren't feeling any discomfort that you feel is from the candida, I would continue the fast and work on reducing it afterwards. That is just my opinion though.

As for my fast, I'm on day 25 of 30. This is my sixth MC but first extended one. I've seen a lot of progress and have been enjoying blogging my experience. Just this morning I took the time to read the whole blog from the beginning and was surprised how far I've come so far.
