Definately need to have your uric acid levels checked. There's a good chance that you might be developing gout especially if your candida diet was high in protein and legumes, and if you have a history of kidney problems, or even high blood pressure and are taking any meds for it. Gout is usually most common in men but women can develope it, too, under the right circumstances. If you find out that that is the case, there's also an eating plan for gout.
