Yes, it sounds like a lot of misunderstanding. Maybe it's that I understand the abuse that she's talking about, and so, it pulled on my heartstrings a little more. I've never talked to anyone from the ICOC on this forum before. I guess I felt a connection to her that way, And so I got defensive for her and for me. I have been addicted before too, I know it does help when you have someone there to ask you "how are you doing in this area in your life". I agree with you totally, maybe I was just damaged also, from the harsh accountablility I have had too, so its hard to trust, you know? I was taught that the ICOC was the only kingdom of God, we were the only committed disciples on the earth, the only ones practicing discipling. I also thought you were a member, it sounded like it your first initial questioning. Anyhow, I also apologize for my attitude, I hope you understand where I was coming from. I certainly understand where you are coming from now. Also, I'm sorry to anyone else I may have offended. Anonymous and I will talk about the issues separate from this forum, so that this won't happen again. I'm really encouraged to hear that Anonymous and her husband are on the right track, and getting help they need. The prayers of everyone here has helped a lot, they have found peace in such a short time. I just wanted to share that with you all, I hope that Anonymous doesn't mind me telling you their status.
