depends on what treatements you are referring to. the cure for heart disease is diet, same for your other examples. of course there are ways to speed things up, but no diet changes, no healing. same for high blood pressure and on an on.

my own problems as example, chronic sinusitis. I was presrcibed allegra, flonase and a decongestant. do you think that treats the cause or the symptom? answer is fairly apparent, at least to me. stop taking the meds, and the problems are worse than ever. even when taking them, i am just surviving. there is the mainstream approach. things get worse, throw in surgery. equally useless. as you know, this is how conventional docs "manage" illness. but, anyone with a clue should want more, no? or are you saying we should just be sick and satisfied with it because these treatments are the only ones scientifically proven helpful?

holistic approach? diet, cleansing-including liver cleanses, Colon Cleanses , kidney cleanses. massage, sleeping right. in less than a year, sinus problems gone forever, including allergies. no more drugs, no more stuffy nose. no more headaches. this is treating the underlying cause.

surely even you can see the difference? let me guess... this is just subjective, no double blind study so on and so forth. fine. i don't think that bothers anyone here but you. and, i still think you should read the book. might even help your nearsightedness. it did wonders for mine.
