It blows me away why no "scientist" or "doctor" has ever tested out what these green globs are made of?
Does it change that much in the liver?
How hard could it possibly be to run a test on these globs to see if they are the olive oil or not?
At least in the article, they mention that they did run tests, and their conclusion was it was the olive oil.
---
Microscopic examination of our patient's stones revealed that they lacked any crystalline structure, melted to an oily green liquid after 10 min at 40oC, and contained no cholesterol, bilirubin, or calcium by established wet chemical methods.
---
Not to mention they did an experiment to see if they could "recreate" the globs using olive oil, lemon juice and potassium hydroxide (acid in the stomach?), and to their knowledge they did.
---
Experimentation revealed that mixing equal volumes of oleic acid (the major component of olive oil) and lemon juice produced several semi solid white balls after the addition of a small volume of a potassium hydroxide solution. On air drying at room temperature, these balls became quite solid and hard.
---
Now why hasn't someone who believes these green stones have been stored for a long time in the kidney, and are being released by the olive oil and not created by it, why haven't tests been done to determine what the green stones are made of?
The worst part about this article is the way it was written... typical scientist non-communication to non-scientists.
I want to believe as much as the next person, I've already done it once and was gearing up to do it again. Now I'm not so sure.
If all that is happening is i'm creating a bunch of olive oil globs that then come out the next day, I'm wasting my time with this liver flush.
Even if the green globs are from the olive oil, at least it would be good to know if the Liver Flush still has some benefits and flushing going on.
