since it is homemade, and the aloevera is used...
Aloe Vera should be refrigerated.
Yes about keeping it in dark glass.
I would suggest that you divide the 19 ozs into maybe 4 separate containers,
then take them out as you use them .
you can buy glass cosmetic container from many resources
I get mine from http://mountainroseherbs.com
Another focus point, NEVER keep dipping in to get lotions,
use a small spatula (cosmetic one tiny ) or a knife/spoon to get a bit out
of the container.
the more you *touch it* the more you introduce bacteria to the base container
Be careful if using concentrates essential oils . make sure they say can be used
externally , since some are for burning only.
using essential oils is not like using regular oils .
bare drops are all that is required, they are so potent.
do not misinterpret the oils Sophie is suggesting are regular oils,
mainly.. along the lines of almond, jojoba, vitamin e, olive, sesame, coconut,
emu,avocado ,etc.
(note if you buy vit e oil read the label..many brands use mineral oil and add vit e)
*****CONSIDER**** a blend of good oils to equal the full value of oil in the recipe)

another thought is simply divide portions into 4ths, and only make about 4 1/2 ounces at time... this is a good amt. and will be $ wise avoiding potential
of spoilage of a higher amt.
Aloe vera gel, and good cold pressed sesame seed oil should be kept in fridge.
Most all oils will have greater shelf life there as well.
Many oils go rancid in about 3-6 months EXCEPT coconut oil and the hard form
of shea and kui nut oil .
