driving just with the left eye

I dreamt I was driving my car, with my left eye covered because it has been hurt and in order to heal it, it has to be covered.
I was not driving well, making stupid things and close to have problems, because my vision was not 100% complete. In a moment I decided to stop driving and to put in the drivers seat a friend, who was in the seat next to mine.
But I also wondered that eventhough I was not driving perfectly, she might not be a better driver.
Any ideas was does this might mean? Thanks
