preperations for first flush

Hi-- I want to start my first flush and I am a little confused and overwhelmed with information. I'm not sure if I need to do both the parasite cleanse, and the chinese herbs, or are they 2 diferent systems? They seem to be similar, but maybe there are things to know about each system, or both? Or should they be combined or alternated?
Any advise from anybody with experience or anybody with a liver problem would be really appreciated.
Where do you start with all this? I don't even know where to begin.
