In the later part of the 1980's, I was sent a transcript from an ancient Egyptian ceremonial entitled "The Royal Initiation." The fella who forwarded me this information was an amateur archeologist and had gotten his hands on this document via his Mormon contacts who'd, somehow or other, managed to decipher its contents at BYU. Accordingly, it described the manner in which Egyptian neophytes to the priesthood were required/administered forced NDE's via getting shoved into an airtight sarcophagus and, once determined dead, revived. Cute, huh?
Nonetheless, the basis for this gung ho kinda initiation was to indoctrinate those who desired the responsibility of higher office byway of direct personal experience and witness, for themselves, that their actions in 3D Land would follow them into the afterlife. Frankly, I think it was good idea...and outta be implemented nowadays for any wannabes who would politically or philosophically jump on their high horse and proclaim themselves public servant.
Yet, ya know, it's not just the omission of information that caused so much grief, but the pontification which has taken place by the alleged "experts." As example, a recent NDE study by team of credentialed physicians from Louisville Kentucky surmised the death trip was akin to nothing more than exaggerated REMs and, basically, just a super active dream. Further, by utilizing their illustrious titles and trumped up medical degrees, it was decided the NDE isn't really Real, but only a voyage into uncharted areas of the physiological brain. Of course, these "experts" are the same kinda guys who, when I was a kid, insisted folks only dreamed in black & white, instead of technicolor (although my own experience said otherwise). Nevertheless, a decade or so after I was fed this hogwash, the same sorta professionals flip flopped and proclaimed their earlier B&W theory was all wrong and the new & inproved version of their research allowed for full color dreamtimes.
I used to ponder, "Hey, where did these guys get their financing?" or "Who's agenda are they promoting, anyway?" Older now, it's obvious.
