Ouch

Hi and I feel your pain. Your description indicates Adhesive Capsulitis, or affectionately known as “FROZEN SHOULDER”. Yuk. I developed this condition last year after straining my shoulder after catching myself as a fell from a shed I was framing. Didn’t even hurt but it apparently pulled some muscles when I swung down on my left arm. Several weeks later it was a little sore. Then I couldn’t raise my arm above my head. It eventually (months) got to the point where I could not move it above my shoulder level and when I did the simplest rotating motion with that arm I had the most intense pain I’ve experienced since taking a header over the handlebars or my bike as a kid. I could lift, shove, and otherwise do things below my shoulder level with some difficulty, but otherwise I could still work at gardening, carpentry, ect. Just don’t ask me to get something out of the back seat of my car! Or jumping jacks! Or put on a shirt! Went to a chiro and she offered the diagnosis and some care such as taping the arm and shoulder to support it (the itching under that tape was worse than the frickin’ bum shoulder!) but after researchiing it online, I discovered that medicine doesn’t know what causes it, and, while there are courses of treatment, nothing stands out as a quick, reliable remedy. My quest has now brought me think that because the shoulder area has lots of tendons, sinews, and cartialge, and, the fact that these have little blood circulation, these things contributes to the slow onset, duration, and healing of Frozen Shoulder. I’m doing everything I can to increase circulation (I inherited my Mom’s bad circulation) and am sneaking up on doing a Liver Flush that is described elswhere in CureZone. Don’t let the Allopathic doc’s tell you you need steriods, drugs, or surgery! It will heal on it’s own if you supply the body with nutients and efficient elimination of wastes. I’ve had this going on for a year and a half and my left shoulder began to loosen up about 3 months ago but as I read research, I found out that the other shoulder commonly gets stiff and sure as feces, MY RIGHT shoulder is hurting as well, altho not as bad. I will see if continuing to do what I started, and a liver flush regimine will get me back to a “normal” 52 year-old guy! Please feel free to ask me questions as misery loves company.
