I could be wrong, but if you have said everything relevant,
it would seem that your current girlfriend is trying to find an exposed "nerve" of yours to step on and manipulate you into a hostile outburst. WHY she would do this, I don't know. Maybe someone will have an opinion on this.

If you cannot have friends, independent of her, to go to the movies with, it would appear to portend an ill will.
If you are planning a long term friendship and maybe contemplating marriage eventually, poor communication on one partner's part is a bed of rocks to sleep on and will end your close friendship.

This is one possibility: she is hurt that you shared a cherished event like the movies with someone else. And the immediate, resulting anger is being used to make you beg her to come back. Perhaps she can't make up her mind if its you she wants or the other guy. But it's probably that she wants you to make a bigger play for her because she likes you more or wants to get the previously ex-boyfriend jealous. Maybe she wants him. What kind of work does he do?

Maybe he doesn't want her and she is being manipulated also. Is the other guy trying to get her mad at you? Without two-way communication, it doesn't look like you'll find out much. It's hard to be patient when you're in pain. And when we are kicked into intense anger we all start acting younger than our chronological age. You both seem younger than 20. The next angry scene may escalate from throwing water to throwing rotten tomatoes. (Did you mention how you met her?)
