Did you read the WHOLE post? It was ultimately positive. But in relation to the OTHER people who said what it's about (total health, not a fad kick), I was responding. And the long time (i.e., experienced) posters aren't talking about the others who have previous experience on fasting or have done the research, they were clearly sharing knowledge with the "new" people - many of whom chimed in as "Howard Sternites."

My point was, it's NOT a fad. And this forum has a tone and has a purpose. Yes, we do support each other, but there is a lot of archived information out there.

If you will look at the posts I've replied to, I am nothing but supportive. So don't villainize me.

Read again - that's exactly what I said. And I was using "us" and "them" to demarcate the older more schooled people vs. the newer fad groupie types who seem to be in this for confused reasons. You'd have thought I was recounting Bull Connor's speech from 1967 about the negroes and the supreme white race. sheesh - give me a break.
