Re: How often is it safe to cleanse with the lemonade drink.

I did 18. Tried for 20 until my brother in law made his famous favorite family soup for my family when he slept over for the weekend. It was the afternoon of day 19 and I couldn't help it. I kept smelling the pot of wonderful soup cooking on my stove and finally I gave in. We live in New Orleans Louisiana and we cook creole gumbo and alot of other wonderful southern dishes but my gumbo never taste like his. Anyway it had seafood, chicken, hot sausage, smoked sausage, etc. You name it it was in there. Not the food to eat when coming off of a fast!!!! But, I didn't care and ate two bowls that day. You know what I felt wonderful and had no problems whatsoever! Just listen to your body...it knows..what you can and can not eat. Listen to it while you fast and you will know when to quit and when to start again. I do a fast four times a year. I try for every three months. Sometimes three days, 10 days and only once did i do the 18 days. But you know what? The 18 days was the easiest and the three days the hardest! (smile) Today I am on day 1 and who knows how long I will go.........Blessings, Sherry
