I am not recommending that any one does a Liver Flush without Epsom Salts .Most people have success using epsom salts. I personally, do not use it because it makes me deathly ill for days. Anything over one tablespoon does this to me. I get headaches, muscle soreness, cannot think straight, horrible diarhea that lasts two and three days and generally just feel like I have a bad case of the flu.

I originally found a recipe for a liver flush on another site that did not use epsom salts, so I used it before I ever heard of using epsom salts. I have no trouble with this. I was not scared of a stone getting stuck because I had never heard of this happening.....and actually I still have never heard of any one getting a stone stuck when doing a liver flush. So, I continue to do my liver flushes not using epsom salts. I do use it if I think I have a gall bladder attack in the making. I take one tablespoon of epsom salts in a small glass of water. I have done this three times, and every time I was sick as a dog for days. Which,to me, is better than having a full blown gall bladder attack. I also tried to use the epsom salts with The Liver Flush with the same results: sick for days. I concluded that epsom salts works for most people, I am just not one of them. I have done eleven flushes so far.

As far as the link that Desert Rat provided...I have this to say...(Please dont take this personally Desert Rat)....the link has gov in the URL ...I listen to nothing that has gov in the url. I skimmed the information provided in the link. It includes some more information from the ADA, another place I do not listen to. However.....the information at that site could be good, I do not know for sure. I have just started doing a little research on magnesium. I do not yet know enough about any kind of magnesium to give any adviceor even an opinion on whether to use it or not.
