You seem to have completely misunderstood my point...

I don't care one bit whether he runs it as a democracy or not. It's obvious that it's NOT. I KNOW it's "his site", he's the one in charge, everything is ultimately up to him. I have even stated this numerous times in my posts to him... things like "Ultimately, you're the one in charge, it's up to YOU to make the decisions as you see fit", ironically in topics where he was asking for public opinion.

But if he's going to do his thing anyway (which in itself is fine, it's his site, he can do whatever he wants with it), then why ask public opinion and get everyone riled up over things if he had no intention of listening to them in the first place? THIS is where the politics come into play. It's only a pretty face to put on for the public. It's much the same as our (American) government is doing. They put up a nice illusion of being a democracy but anyone with a brain can see that it's not.

I *FULLY* realize and understand that he is in charge of the site and can do whatever he wants with it. But at least be upfront and honest about it. Don't play this snakey politics game with your userbase and try to paint a picture of actually caring if you don't.
