I get that, too. I'm not sure either what it is, but I suspect yeast. It's hard to say, because I tested positive for threadworm (aka pinworm) awhile back, but I thought I had gotten rid of it. I used to get an almost immediate itching response (sometimes also deep in my ears) whenever I would eat something sweet. Now that I'm not feeding it (doing Body Ecology Diet), I still get occasional itching and vaginal yeast, but I think that's possibly because it's externalizing/exiting. AT least they propose that theory in the book - why women will have yeast infections act up while they're doing the diet. I have heard that with colonics you can get implants of things like tea tree oil or acidophilus. I wonder if that would help. You could probably do that yourself with an enema.
