To juice ginger I just cut a small sliver and peel the skin off. You'd be surprised it really isn't that hard. I put it in the juicer with a carrot and kind of hold it there so it grinds up good. Otherwise a lot of it will fly out into the pulp container.

Well it sounds like you need a good bowel cleansing program so you can continue on your road to health. Are you having GB attacks at all? When I first started out bowel cleansing I used CleanseSmart by RenewLife. I thought it was a pretty decent cleanse. I noticed lots of mucous and had about 2-6 BM's per day. After I finished that I moved on to the B&P's which I did for 7 weeks at 2 doses per day. I started getting achy so I stopped the Bentonite and have just been using the psyllium since then 2 times per day. I have 2-3 BM's per day. The CleanseSmart is a 2 part cleanse, an organ detox and a Colon Cleanse . You take 2 capsules of one in the morning and 2 capsules of the other in the evening. I started off taking both but stopped taking the organ detox to focus more on the colon cleanse. I am just now finishing up the organ detox capsules. They also have FiberSmart which I did use but if I were to do the cleanse again, I would just use psyllium. Cheaper and more effective in my opinion. I think maybe the reason you got so backed up with the B&P is that it was just releasing too much too quick. You probably have a lot to get rid of. Maybe start off with a different cleanse for a little and then add 1 B&P every other day until your colon gets used to it. Just a suggestion. Another good cleanse many have used is Holistic Horizons. I haven't tried it myself but I've read only good things about it. I'll attach some links to these cleanses.
