I never said we can chose to become corrupt at birth and neither does The Word of God. If you throughly read my post you know that I said "we are corrupt at conception." This is what The Bible teaches, study the verses listed as a starting point.

Free will and the consequenses of negative decisions are other topics not being discussed by me in my post. There are many related doctrines related to the corruption of man and his natural state before God, but it is relevant to lay a foundation before we build the house. We don't want to build on sand.

I understand the principle of reaping and sowing:

Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Gal 6:8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

but this is not the topic. You said we choose to be corrupt, I said we were concieved in corruption and are born corrupt without free volition being involved. It was passed on by the seed of our father, the reason why jesus, in his humanity, could not have had a human father. You can study the "Imaculate Conception" to see if this is true or not. Or you could study the "Imaculate Reception" by Franco Harris that propelled the Steelers on to win their first Super Bowl (IX). Either one will be a rewarding experience.
