questions about gall bladder flushes

My mom is 51 and has been diagnosed with gall stones and a hematoma on her liver. She doesn't want to have surgery but we were told by a doctor here on the internet that doing a liver cleanse/gall baldder flush could make her very ill. We were going to do pure apple juice for a week and then try 3 tblsp. olive oil with lemon juice one before bed and then again upon wakening. What do we do??? I don't want to make her any sicker than she already is but she really wants to do one of these flushes. Help!!!!!!!!
