You'll find that after a period of time, between a few months and a few years, the saw palmetto may stop working for you. With any systematic anti-androgen, the body eventually begins producing more androgens to compensate for the fact that fewer of them are being absorbed - and furthermore, the receptors in the skin actually become more sensitive to androgens (or strictly speaking DHT). It's called reflex hyperandrogenicity, and is the body's way of maintaining a balance. So for most people, inhibiting androgen uptake is a short-term solution at best.
