• Medical journals push for release of all clinical trial results
  Some of the world's most prestigious medical journals have banded together to force pharmaceutical and medical device companies to report the full results of clinical trials, both positive and negative.
  The 11 publications, which include the Canadian Medical Association Journal, the Lancet and the New England Journal of Medicine, are demanding that all clinical trials be registered in a free public database before researchers begin enrolling patients. Otherwise, they won't publish the study.

  Immunization against hepatitis B was associated with a three-fold increase in the incidence of MS, based on 11 people diagnosed with MS after receiving hepatitis B shot.

  Doctors have known for years that the antibiotic erythromycin can, in rare cases, spark an abnormal and sometimes fatal heartbeat. But combining it with several common drugs may dramatically increase that risk, researchers warned on Wednesday.  Their analysis of 1,476 sudden deaths in Tennessee found a fivefold increase in the chance of dropping dead from a heart attack among people taking erythromycin plus one of a handful of drugs.  Yet even erythromycin, if used alone, doubled the risk of sudden death, said the team, led by Wayne Ray of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville.  "We were very surprised. We were expecting maybe a slight increase in deaths, if anything," he told Reuters.

• Study: Wide use of drug caused deaths
  New research shows that soon after doctors started prescribing a drug for congestive heart failure more widely, the number of patients who died from a side effect increased.
  The researchers say their findings illustrate what can happen when doctors apply drug-study results to their own patients. They suggest that some of the patients probably shouldn't have been given the heart failure drug and that doctors weren't checking for dangerous potassium buildup.

  In 1989 I was severely poisoned by pesticides in a physician's office I worked in, which was sprayed with Dursban for termites which had swarmed inside the building. The slab was also injected and since it was cracked, liquid pesticide mixed with its solvent carrier seeped into and pooled on the carpet in the back offices.  I had lung damage from inhalation, brain damage, lesions on the brain, (unequal pupils), seizures, DNA damage, kidney damage, liver and heart damage.  Had a migraine headache with intense vomiting which never stopped, lasted almost all the time for over six months.   I have had allergies to ALL fruits and vegetables since my daughter was born 12 years ago. This makes it VERY difficult to eat healthy which worries me in the long run.   You make it sound as though mucus is a rare resource in the intestines, which the system has to work hard to regenerate. I find that hard to believe - mucus must be one of the easiest body exudates to create. And I think the word "stripping" is somewhat alarmist: mucus is surely not a thick, protective sheath that peels off, it's a semi liquid substance. People on cleanses are typically * not * constipated, which suggests that there's enough mucus smoothing the passage of feces, rather than there being a lack of mucus.

  I got a hornet or wasp bite, maybe they are bees, I don't know. Not a regular honey bee, smaller and slenderer. They live in a hole in the outside wall of my house near ground level.
  It was just a quick sting on my forearm where there is not much meat, I brushed it off instinctively. It only stung a little, but later it swelled up to about 4" long and 2" wide along the bone in my forearm.

  During a liver flush, your liver and gallbladder do the same thing they do every time you eat dinner! it just does it a tad more forcibly. There is no reason why it has to be "harsh." I Caution people not to do them too often, like only every 2-4 weeks, but other than that, so long as you take the proper precautions of softening the stones (which rarely get hard anyways, it's impossible for human fats to get crunchy they only ever get waxy even after decades) and cleansing the bowel afterwards so the toxins don't just sit there, it's a very safe procedure. The worst that can happen is a stuck stone, which is not dangerous because you just flush again, or vomiting.

  Not only are they not part of the original cleanse but just from from a "common sense" and "logical" point taking into account how the digestive system works the capsules are not a good idea at all, possibly harmful and they simply are not the way to get healing to most effectively happen.
  The way digestion works is that it starts with the saliva which contains digesting enzymes that are necessary for proper and complete digestion. That's one of the reasons you'll find in many books and nutritional regimens that they recommend that you hold and swish liquids in your mouth before swallowing or as they call it "chewing your liquids.

  My daughter has what her MD calls a Ganglion Cyst on her thigh. It has been growing larger for about a year. He's not worried about it and says it's harmless. It does not hurt her, but is unsightly and she constantly is touching it and wondering about it. I've read on the Net that they can be aspirated with a needle. Then if they come back they should be removed which requires a surgery because the roots go deep into the tissue. It is hard about the size of a dime, but raised about 1/4 inch. Lately it's been turning red and blue in color.

  MOSTLY - no blood flows means your body cannot fight it off either. And it might not show up in blood tests.   That's what happened to me, and I developed all the symptoms of Fibromyalgia - pains, muscle cramps, IBS, and fatigue, brain fog, terrible headaches right off the scale, and finally Trigeminal Neuralgia. They told me extractions would not cure TM, but it did. nobody believes me that extractions cured my Fibro, no docs anyhow. But it did.

  She has PCOS, has been on the pill for 8 years. Recently, she wound up in ER for severe abdominal pain & heavy bleeding. They told her she had a ruptured cyst, nothing they could do for her except pain meds, that'll be $9,000 please!
  Now, it's 2 or 3 months later and she is having severe pain and bleeding again. Dr's say she needs surgery, but she has no health ins, and is a full-time student. She is now on Medicaid because of inability to pay the $9000 hospital bill from last time.
