Re: Ulcerative Colitis Cure - Vitamin E Enema & Diet

Hello everyone. Just wanted to post quickly to let all of you who are wondering if this treatment works that it really, really does! My 9 year old son was diagnosed with UC this past July, but has been suffering from it for well over a year now. I started him on this treatment back in September after his second serious flare-up of the disease (the first of which was only a month prior). During both flares, he had a fever of almost 105 along with heavy bleeding and very abnormal liver function blood test results. Over the past two weeks, my son had another series of bloodwork done along with an Upper GI Series with Barium. I got the results of the tests today, and I couldn't be more pleased! The blood test results were perfect, and the Upper GI Series with Barium was normal - we're talking no inflammation whatsoever!!!!! I can tell you that the road hasn't been easy following the diet, but my son has been a real trooper and it has really paid off for him. He's gone from having 8 - 10 liquid stools daily to having 1-2 semi-formed stools daily. We've got a long way to go before I will consider him healed, but he is well on his way to recovery, all thanks to Sheldon and his wonderful information and support.

If you suffer from UC and aren't following this procedure already, GET YOUR BUTT IN GEAR AND GET STARTED! If a 9 year old boy can do it, then what is your excuse? I realize how time-consuming it is to follow the diet exactly, but when you start to see the positive results I am certain that you will agree that it is more than worth the effort. Also, please post whenever possible with your progress and obstacles; I can't tell you how helpful reading the testimonials of others who have been successful with this procedure has been for my family!
