The reason the C has zinc in it is because it causes the body to remove zinc from storage. Taking that C will keep you where you are at best, and still may decrease your levels of zinc which will interfere with your ability to heal in general.

Slap a bandaid on your chin, and race to the store for zinc picolinate. You don't have to take it long, but you will do best to get that form and drop the C. C can cause your body to become too acidic( which can cause inflammations like zits) and can reduce your zinc and copper levels, and will interfere with your calcium levels which helps to keep your body alkaline. Extra C isn't good for everyone, and the fact that your bump is not healing quicker is a sign that it may not be benefitting your current internal state.
