Would I be able to keep taking them while on a fast?

Hi Jasmine,

One of the great benefits of fasting is that there is a high success rate in being able to eventually discontinue the use of many common medications taken for chronic disorders.

HOWEVER, when such conditions are already present in the faster and such medications are required, the proper procedure for fasting can only be dictated by a qualified professional. I don't think anyone here is qualified to answer your question difinitively. I certainly wouldn't recommend you NOT take them, but only a trained fasting supervisor can guide you properly. On the bright side, I believe there is a good chance that through proper guidance there is a way for you to use fasting to break free of the conditions which require these drugs.

When a normally healthy person fasts for over 7 days or when anyone with a medical condition intends to fast for any length of time, doctor's supervision is always recommended.
