Is menstruation really necessary?

I just found a very interesting and intriguing article about menstruation, I thought some people on this forum might be interested in it. It's quite long, so it's posted in my blog http://curezone.com/blogs/f.asp?f=732

Basically it says that bleeding during menstruation is unnatural and that healthy women eating a mostly raw diet have very little bleeding. A lot of research and evidence is presented. Herbert Shelton is quoted as saying that he holds this view as well.
