I'm so sorry for the pain that you have experienced! Rest somewhat assured that you are not alone in your pain. Countless women who have had abortions feel the pain and loss that you feel - like an emptiness in your soul. I too have felt that same pain, and sometimes still do.

Since you state you are catholic than may I assume that you have knowledge of Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is our atonement for our sins, He is the reason that we can be reconciled to our Heavenly Father, no matter what the sin. You can cast all your cares on Jesus, and ask forgiveness, so you can be healed of your pain. It probably won't be instant, but a work.

Acknowledging your pain is the first step to recovery!

Acknowledging that all the emotional symptoms that you are experiencing are normal, and part of the process is the second step.

Please know that you are perfectly normal.

Next, please understand that your baby is not suffering and is completely safe. (I believe all children go to heaven)

Now is time to understand your feelings and emotions, and work through it step by step.

It sounds to me that you are on the right path, you left the un-healthy relationship, are getting healthy and have a husband and baby to care for and who love and cherish you.

Lord and Father God I pray that you comfort this soul, and just shower her in your forgiveness and Love...In Jesus Name AMEN.
