There are some good things on your side:
1. you don't have kids (and it was so wise of you not to have any in such a situation!)
2. you are healthy
3. you are young
4. you are willing to go (are you?)

Do you have anyone you could go to for a while? parents, sister/brother, old friend? or at least anyone you could go to and say, hey I don't have money now but I can pay for the rent as soon as I find a job.

I think the odds are in your favour. You're lacking of money and mobility, but you can make it, I'm sure you can figure a way out. As you said yourself, it is a difficult situation but not too difficult to really stop you. Go ahead, the world is yours!
