Re: Elevated liver enzymes... safe to flush?

I've read that the liver has potent powers to regenerate, and regeneration implies de-generation. So, helping the liver to repair itself seems to make sense.

Dr. Schultze has an incurables program that includes a Liver Flush and this is for people who are not in the best of health. In some of his newsletters I've read he addresses how people can eat/do all sorts of things and then worry about a few herbs hurting them. One time I ate an entire large veggy lover's pizza with beef and cheese and pan crust and trusted my liver/gallbladder to work out that fat & cheese & all. In my younger days, on a few occasions I finished off a couple bottles of champagne and I don't know what that did to what levels of whatever, but I did it.

It might be a good idea to find an alternative medical doctor in your area to begin you on the fantastic (congrats!) road to recovery. She/he could monitor your levels to help you feel comfortable with your regeneration plans. There are herbs like milk thistle you can read about and a program of Dr. Schultze's...
