No, it's just Larry. It's funny how strong the Greek genes are. The other side is German, fair skinned, blue eyes etc. With only 1/4 Greek, I have the olive skin, brown eyes and, often unfortunately, the temperement all from the Greek side.

I always thought it would be great to have a Greek wife if she were a good cook - because we all know Greek women also are the best at cooking in ..er um... other ways too. Sorry.

As for SAM-E, it can be a bit pricey. But if you get the Nature Made when they've got the 2 for 1 specials at Kroger, they're less that fifty cents per 400 MG dose. And you don't use it every day. I find in REALLY bad times, I'll use take it every day for a few days and maybe once a week here and there. In more normal times maybe once every few months, or occasionally to help fall asleep. So considering ANY other anti-depressent that actually works from Prozac to Kentucky Bourbon, it's pretty darned cost effective.

I also tried St Johns Wart, and it NEVER worked. I might have had some slight relief on occasion, but I would wake up the next day in the blackest mood of my life. I have no problem believing the reports of people that have killed themselves while taking St Johns. OTOH everyone I have told about the Nature Made Sam-E has reported it working for them just as it has for me.

At first your not sure becuase physically you feel exactly the same as before, except that those obsessive negative thoughts aren't there (which you think is just a matter of them coming and going). But after repeating the process you learn that your mood lifts every time you take it.
