The reason we get so many GB stones is that 1st, they form in the liver first and some migrate into the GB which is where you get your GB attacks. And 2nd, the flush moves stones out of the liver as well as the GB.

You've been on this site for a couple of weeks now MrDamage and you should have already read much of the pertinate material at the Gall Stone pages. With potentially thousands of stones of varying size in your liver it stands to reason that you would flush out a bunch of them (a few to a few hundred) each time you flush providing you wait long enough between flushes. If you look at the pictures on the GB page you'll see GBs packed with dozens of pea size (some larger, some smaller) stones. The number of stones that flush out each time depends on the size and how far forward they are. If you have a GB that's full of hundreds of sand to pea size stones they will flush and produce the big numbers that some folks get. Bear in mind though that everyone is different and people get different results.

I only have two stones in my GB that show on ultrasound, but I'll guarrantee that there are possibly thousands in my liver waiting to move up. We'll see just how many when I start flushing through the next year or so.
