Update On My Sore Throat and THANKS, JOHN!

Well, my replacement zapper (I gave my other one to my daughter, Laura) arrived around 4:30 Friday afternoon. As soon as the mailman delivered it, I snapped a 9 volt battery in and zapped myself seven minutes, waited twenty minutes and again zapped. I did this three times. To be honest, I didn't expect my sore throat, runny nose, cough and the pain in my face to go away. Since I had had it for several days, I figured it had "settled in" and I would have to tough it out. My upper left jaw area had begun to ache yesterday and I had a red bump appear on my face in that same area. I guess an infection had settled in my face area.

I made myself take no medication (I'm still a work in progress and it's an effort not to reach for a pill) and just went to bed. I woke up around 12:30 and I was drenched in sweat, but the sore throat was gone! I went back to sleep and when I woke up this morning, the pain in my jaw area was gone, the red bump on my face was going down and I was talking normally--not hoarse or scratchy anymore. I walked down the hall and my husband looked at me before I said a word and said "Well, you look better." Well, I feel 100% better! But, shocked was an understatement for the reason behind my miracle!

Thank you John Cullison, for suggesting I use the zapper, but I never dreamed it would have zapped a cold virus. I thought of a zapper more along the lines for killing parasites! I will be zapping again today! Something so simple helped me cure the dreaded common cold! Totally amazing! WAY TOO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and this has nothing whatsoever to do with anything, but aren't the Atlanta Braves just kicking butt! Go Braves!
