What about food combining theories?

I see many juice recipes that combine fruit and vegetables together. Recently I've been reading that many foods shouldn't be combined. They say it's best to eat food seperately. Do any of you drink strictly vegetable or strictly fruit juice? Or do different rules apply for juice? Or is food combining rules more trouble than they're worth?
