Are you saying that you actually believe that there are decent people on earth that are fascinated by mutilating something?
Of course not. I'm saying that Rapturists and Revelationists are indecent people, because every bit of death and misery and destruction that goes on in the Middle East delights them. The Ends justifies The Means, and, in this case, The Means includes mutilating Arab babies so that the Rapturists and Revelationists can earn eternal paradise. It might as well be seventy-two virgins.
God tells us that living a gay lifestyle is wrong. It goes against the natural order of things and cannot produce offspring.
First, let's clear something up. "The Bible tells us that God tells us that living a gay lifestyle is wrong." There. Much better. In order for the way you worded it to be true, the Bible would have to be provably The Word of God®. And it's no more the word of God than any other holy book that you don't believe in.
Now then, let's examime "goes against the natural order". That's the whole point of my posts in this thread. To which natural order do you refer? The male dolphins that have nasal sex with each other? The 10% of rams who are gay? See, one of the more redundant arguments offered by Christians is this idea that "the natural order" is exclusively heterosexual, and that is strong evidence that heterosexuality is God's sole will. And yet there are plenty of demonstrations, as the Norwegian exhibit attests, of homosexuality in nature. It's not exclusively a human (i.e. non-natural) phenomenon. Not even close.
As with virtually every other claim made by Christians with respect to natural phenomena, here is yet another instance where Christianity is simply wrong. The natural order does in fact include homosexuality. So whether or not God demands that humans not be homosexual, the Christian claim that it's "unnatural" and "against nature" is provably, demonstrably false.
That's the point.
