This chelation protocol is one of the most popular now and two forums alone are devoted to using this protocol and no other. Many people have been harmed by various random protocols out there, as they think so long as it can move mercury, it's the answer. Well far from it, mercury can be mobilised wildly and easily end up in the brain/gut/liver etc. Some of the worst things a person can use is garlic supplements, other high sulfur supplements like cysteine/methionine etc, plus using alpha lipoic acid (without using it in the correct manner), chlorella, cilantro, etc. Although you will always get those that seem to defy everything and do ok no matter what they do, many and I mean MANY have been harmed by these "popular and typical" chelation methods. Most do not even chelate properly but only serve to move mercury everywhere. A proper chelation protocol means using something that has a tight enough grip on the mercury, and used in such a way so the mercury get escorted out, rather than moved into more sensitive/worse areas.

NOt everybody will agree on everthing and there is no such thing as the perfect protocol, but I believe his is as near as a person will get with this toxicity.
