Thanks Jayson!! I have a four ingriedient diabetic cook book...low carbs....check it out if you want. All the recipes are simple and quick...you may have to replace some of the stuff with say whole grain and that if you do those things, but SIMPLE!! There are recipes for appetizers, snacks, meals, side dishes....and all count the carbs,fat,protien, calories...etc, of each right at the bottom of the recipe. (it also lists the exchanges for each if anyone does it that way)I realize this is not a list of foods that will DO anything to the BS, but while you are looking, I find this is a HUGE stress reliever as far as JUST eating when you are hungary, and don't FEEL like thinking right now!! :) 0 of 0 (0%) readers agree with this message. They sell 2...one is just "Four Ingredient" the other is for diabetics....It's Coffee & Cale...

Here is an example:
Quick Crab Stir-Fry
8 oz. Imitation Crab (you can use fresh, cook longer if so...this just says imitation)
1 package (10oz.) Fresh or Frozen Stir-Fry Veggies with seasoning packet
1 tsp Ginger
1 TBsp Balsamic Vinegar
Spray a spray a large skillet with cooking spray (I don't use cooking spray...you could use sesame oil instead if you want)Cook crab, veggies and ginger for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Mix sauce packet with 1/4 cup water and add. Heat for one minute. Add vinegar heat for one more minute. (6 servings)
Serving Size - 1/2 cup
Calories 59 Protien 5g
Total fat 1g Carbohydrate 8g
Saturated Fat 0g Cholestrol 8mg
Sodium 328mg Fiber 0g
EXCHANGES: 1 lean meat, 1/2 starch
(It's suppose to be simple remember!! Some of the recipes have NO carbs at all...I just like this one :)
