Hi dr. Hardy
when you have time for this could you post your point of view on diet, lifestyle and eventual supplementation for children? I have a 2 yo son who's feeling very good, but I could use some suggestions. I have you know these motherly doubts sometimes, should he eat more proteins? should he have more iron? omega 3? iodine? vit D (we live far north)? you know how it is. My son eats very little, basically plenty of oatmeal, and some fruit (apples blueberries bananas and pineapple at present), meat once a week (I am vegetarian, but he really loves meat, so...) and fewer veggies (tomatoes, carrots annd peas). For kindergarten I make him sandwiches with home-made bread, that he hardly ever eats. He's in one of those picky periods where children live of air, which is a good attitude probably, also because where we live, in the mountains in Norway, the air is very pure. He's recently manifesting great passion for milk, basically picked from kindergarten. He's a very active child, always running here and there.
