There are SO many versions of a liver/gallbladder flush...this one just puts a few new twists on it.
I've had the greatest success with flushing preceeded by unpasteurized organic apple juice and ortho-phosphoric acid. My understanding is that apples contain malic acid that helps to break down the stones, particularly when combined with ortho-phosphoric acid...which also does this. Apple juice should be avoided when candida is present, but the ortho-phosphoric acid will not aggravate candida. You have to make sure and rinse your mouth well after using ortho-phosphoric acid, though, because any remaining in the mouth can damage tooth enamel.
The amount of Epsom Salts seems pretty excessive to me...many successful cleanses are done with just a few teaspoons. A couple of tablespoons is certainly enough to clean most people out.
The liver massage sounds good...it could help to release even more gunk stored in the liver and gallbladder. I have experienced this squirting sensation so I know it is beneficial.
Most flushes that I am familiar with recommend lying on the right side with knees drawn up in order to encourage the oil to drain from the stomach and assist the contents of the liver/gallbladder to move into the small intestines. Standing on your head would probably not be a good position, but other than that I don't know if it really matters much. ; )
Personally, I don't recommend using grapefruit/juice because it inhibits enzymes that are involved in Phase I detoxification. I suggest lemon instead...but I know a lot of people use grapefruit.
As for the oil, I've always used olive, but as long as it's organic and unrefined it should be fine.
