I'm really frightened!

This is the first time I have visited this web site. I was searching for some information about Thrush infections that I have been fighting for the past month and it led me to this web site. As I was reading I came across a few messages about amalgum poisoning. That is what caught my eye. I will try to tell you briefly about my problem. I have Fibromyalgia, probably Sjogrens and Epilepsy to begin with. I have had seizures since I was 10 or 11 yrs old. A couple of months ago I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and the dentist told me I had a leaking filling that needed to be removed and replaced. He went on to tell me about the risks of removing it mainly because I was nervous about it because I know that amalgum fillings can possibly cause auto-immune diseases. He reassured me that it was ok and not dangerous how he does it. So, I went back in April and had it done. What I have been reading about here about how this should be done safely, is NOT how he did it! He didn't give me oxygen or air or tell me not to breath while he was drilling, or use a lot of water, nor did he warn me to wash my face or take a bath afterwards. What has happened since then is that the next week me and my husband went to Germany to visit our daughter and while I was there I got sick with a cold. Then I ended up with Thrush! I have gone through one round of diflucan (sp?) and the Thrush has come back. SO, the doctor is calling in more of it for me. I NEVER dreamed that this could have anything to do with having the filling removed! My chiropractor told me that it is very common for people with Fibromyalgia to have Thrush. So, I just thought it was my normal Fibromyalgia problems! I am really scared and need some advice about what I should do!
