First make sure your drops are in sufficient amount of water.
Second you really need to have an empty stomach to allow the solution to stain your lining and mucus. Also start with only Lugol's and filtered water, you may add some "fresh" lemon or lime juice to it to kill the flavor.

Now leave at least 30 minutes with no food intake to have the solution absorbed.

You may add ACV instead of lime/lemon juice. But all must be carb free since carbs will bond with the Lugol's.

Now understand that once Iodine is present your stomach will begin to create more acid and your PH level must change to accommodate that which could temporarily show as stomach issues.

There is also a possibility of existing Salmonella or H.Pylori die-off from the Lugol's so at the beginning several issues can show up but turn out to be simple healing reactions.
