Oil Pulling science

I know there are a few theories on how the oil pulling mechanism works -
The majority of which lean towards the dumping of oil soluble toxins via salivary glands as the liver/gallbladder area is activated when oil is in the mouth.

In this case the end product is toxic.

Although this is likely ocurring I think that the main mechanism behind oil pulling is likely the emulsification of essential fatty acids and oil soluble vitamins that may allow them to be absorbed sublingually into the blood stream much more effectively. Benefits of oil pulling suggest this as the availability of oil soluble vitamins and FA improve hair & skin luster and even KP, a more obvious condition stemming from a lack of oil soluble components.

This may be very beneficial for those having trouble absorbing fatty acids like me, due to weakened digestion (like lack of digestive enzyme lipase) and decreased bile output due to congested liver/gallbladder.
Emulsified fatty acids are easier to absorb in the digestive track; oil pulling may provide another degree of absorption as it bypasses digestion all together.

That is why I would like to start adding more "goodies" to the oil I pull with (like vitamin A,E,D), and hold it for longer periods of time for increased exposure.

I've been taking these for a while, including fatty acids but the deficiency still persists so I feel I may get more bang for the money if I can absorb them sublingually. Another option may be to emulsify them myself and drink the mix. Obviously another Liver Flush is being planned.
