Everybody's different so don't worry about the soya milk thing. It's just that I read an article on the associations between soya milk and hormonal imbalances in young children when it is fed as a milk substitute to toddlers, as soya is known to contain high levels of the female hormone oestrogen. But if we went around listening to every food scare story the papers throw at us we'd probably be living on nothing but water! Personally I drink rice milk as I love the flavour, or make my own alomond milk by soaking almonds overnight, adding fresh water the next day, blending for several minutes then straining in a coffee press (yum yum!)

I try and make quite a thick but spreadable paste with the bicarb, and adding a little egg white can help it set on your face if you wanted to leave it for half an hour or so. It is pretty runny stuff though and the heat from my face usually makes it drop off round my chin, so I have a towel around my neck to catch drops! Experiment and see what works best for you.
