First Fundamental - NHP

There are four fundamentals that all of Natural Healing embraces. Anyone who is sucessfull at getting sick people well are applying one or more of these fundamentals. Read some of the testamonials on Barefoots forum (or my web site) and if you look closely at what these people did to regain their health you can see that all they did is clean themselves out and feed themselves properly. And, of course, no more drugs or poisons. It works. They returned all the way back to "normal".

There's some confusion about the word Paradigm.

Paradigm: The theory behind the application.

Medical Paradigm: Treat the disease.

The Natural Healing Paradigm: Treat the cause of the disease.


The four fundamentals of Natural Healing are:

1. Straighten it out
2. Clean it out.
3. Feed it properly.
4. Excercise.

Any and all physical disease can be traced back to one or more of these four fundamentals being broken. Anyone who is having success getting sick people well is applying one or more of these four fundamentals to the human body.


1. Straighten it out: When the sperm and egg first get together the very first thing formed in the new child is the brain and spinal cord. The Central Nervous System.

The Central Nervous System controls and coordianates ALL bodily function. The Central Nervous System is the only organ that is completely surrounded by bone. The skull and spinal column.

Everyone knows how serious a head or spinal cord injury is. Death or paralysis often results from such injuries.

However, most injuries aren’t to that degree. Most injuries don’t involve the head but the spine does have a considerable volumn of injuries. Fender benders, a slip on the ice, athletic injuries, etc. These spinal injuries must be addresed if you are to stay healthy.

Th main profession addressing the spine is, of course, the Chiropracitc profession.

Chiropractic was discovered in 1895 by D. D. Palmer in Davenport Iowa. Before the official discovery of it Chiropractic had been used in crude form dating all the way back to Egyptian times. What Palmer did is define, catagorize and develop specific ways to correct the various mechanical breakdowns from everyday structural injuries people acquire.

While the application of Chiropractic technic is very precise and requires a high level of skill the principles that it uses are quite easy to understand.

The Central Nervous System controls and coordinated all bodily function. If the spine is not mechanically correct the Central Nervous System cannot get the nerve energy to and from the body in its proper volumn. If you’ve ever had a pinched nerve you know how debilitating it is. The pain is excrutiating.

Chiropractic corrects the mechanical cause of the pinched nerve thus allowing the body to return to its pre-injury status.

Mechanical correctness and efficiancy are very important to the overall health of a human body.

When proper mechanical advantages are lost the body spends extra energy just to move. The lost geometry of the mechanics won’t allow efficient movement of the structures. The excess energy required to perform normal movement means there is a loss of energy for other functions of the body. If mechanical defficiencies are NOT corrected this often leads to chronic fatigue type disorders and can be a major player in serious disease processes.

Plus, the improper mechanics cause the specific joint to wear out prematurely. The body attempts to stabilize the specific joint by sending extra calcium to it. Thus we get arthritis as a normal boiological response to improper mechanics. All preventable by the application of Chiropractic.

A pinched nerve is devistating. If you’ve ever had one no explanation is necessary. You cannot fake the pain of a pinched nerve. Between each segment of the spine is where the nerve exits the spinal cord and supplies a specific part of the body with its nerve energy. If the nerve is pinched for an extended length of time that part of the body will whither away and die.

The first line of defense in maintaning your health is to make sure you have proper nerve expression. The primary way this is done is via Chiropractic application.

Remember, the Central Nervous System controls and coordinates ALL bodily function. Take care of your spine. Once corrected it’s quite easy to maitain proper mechanics.

There are other professions that help maintain proper body mechanics and balance. Message therapy, Accupuncture and accupressure, Meridian therapy, and Reflexology, to name a few.

Meridian therapy deserves mention here as part of the electromagnetic field of the human body. Meridians are the electro/magnetic field that surrounds all living things. They follow specific pathways that can be interfered with in a variety of ways. In humans the biggest interfering factor is the silver/mercury fillings in your teeth. Any metal inserted into an electromagnetic field interups that electromagnetic field. So you not only get the heavy metal poisoning from the fillings but the metals also interfer with the balance of the meridian pathways that surround the body. Thus lowering your resistance to disease.

Straighten it out. Get your spine back into it’s proper mechanical condition and get rid of the metal in your mouth.

When people tell me about a friend or relative with a terminal disease and the efforts they are making in Natural Healing the first thing I ask is "Who's their chiropractor? Most of the time they say something like "Oh he doesn't have one".
Or "No, he doesn't believe in chiropratic". Then I'll politely excuse myself from the conversation saying "when he wants to get healthy let me know".

Fundamental number one: Straighten it out.
