I am quite sure you have no realistic view of the average italian rome-catholic

They fall on their knees in masses when hes giving his yearly speech

My family for some reason respects the pope. Maybe i am uninformed and am not able to realize his greatness

Not that the average non-catholic christian faith is much different i guess. I dont like that every person who has a certain position/function concerning christianity is received with great (according to me false) worship
