Supposed to get Mirena next tuesday..

hi. I am supposed to be getting the Mirena Coil next Tuesday in conjunction with having a polyp removed from my Uterus, and the nurse says I can change my mind on the day, I just need to tell the surgeon.

What would you recommend.

1.) I am currently bloated all the time anyway.. despite not having the coil
2.) I am already prone to episodes of depression
3.) Mood Swings
4.) hormonal acne
5.) joint pain

aside from that, I have asthma.

I was told Mirena would help with the mood swings, and depression.. and the main thing of minimising future growths in the uterus.

I am not interested in acne, or any more bloating or headaches.

I would appreciate any advise anyone can give.
