in fact, he also drank pepsi his whole life and that alone increases the cancer risk.  when i got into eating healthy, something told me that pop was not healthy.  there is nothing good about pop, the preservatives, the fluoridated water, the carbon dioxide, the high fructose corn syrup.  i do drink occasional pop, but it is Virgils. I get a craving for root beer once in a while. i am a child of the 70s and was raised on pop shoppe pop, although thank god, i was never a big soda drinker.

However, it’s important to note that carbonated soft drinks can contribute to acid reflux disease, which is a risk factor for esophageal cancer. Therefore, you should limit sodas if you have or are starting to develop acid reflux disease.
