The information on the site was use of an enema bag not an enema syringe.1.5 tablespoons of room temperature water should not have a negative effect.By placing the just tip of the syringe into the rectum,the force of squeezing the air in the syringe bulb should be sufficient to allow the the mixture to flow far enough into the colon.Use just enough bulb air to do this.
I got the following information by typing baby enema in the google search window.
Baby Enema -Lubricate tip of bulb syringe with olive oil. Insert tip of bulb syringe into your baby’s rectum ½ inch. The bulb should contain approximately 1 to 3 tablespoons of lukewarm water. Gently squeeze the water into the colon. Assure that only the water goes into the colon, not any air that might be in the bulb. Wait a few minutes for your baby to pass a stool. Repeat this process if necessary.
