day 9 and the fog suddenly clears!

Nine days into my cleanse and WOW -- I'm sitting here at my desk and the fog just suddenly cleared! I've definitely broken through something here because I honestly don't remember the last time I felt this good, mentally or physically. I've been going by the book for the entire time - SWF, drinks, H2O and lax tea like clockwork. Detox symptoms have definitely been there but pretty mild. But suddenly this wonderful turn of events! I was planning on going 10 days but who knows, maybe I will decide to go a bit longer. I know I have a lot to get out of my system. I just moved from NYC and know that living there took a real toll on my body. I've also been on meds for many years and am beginning to wean myself off of everything. But I know that there's a ton of stuff built up in my system that's been dragging me down. This cleanse has brought wonderful results. Everything feels so clear right now; and all of my senses seem a bit stronger -- colors and smells, especially, seem clearer than ever.

I must admit, I've been a bit aggravated until now with how this cleanse has seemed to drag on without any "moments of clarity" like this. (For lack of a better phrase!! Lol) With today's 'blah's and dull irritability, I should have known that a major detox phase was clearing! ;)

As a side note -- I also tried limes instead of lemons for the first time last night and let me say ... YUM!! I've done several MC's now, always with lemons. Yesterday at the store lemons were scarce and, for want of a little variety, I decided to grab some limes instead. I love the way they taste in the lemonade. Yes - between how great I feel and this tasty new lemonade recipe, I might just have to stick with this a bit longer!
