Invincible, something nice happened. [Edited.]

We drove down the highway today, to see my mom and dad. It was a spontaneous decision.

I had started a pot of brown rice, and thought I would turn off the heat when we left, leaving the pot on the hot element to finish cooking as best it could. We had been invited to stay for dinner.

Before we left, the rice had been started about 15 - 20 minutes, at first on a high heat, then turned down to about #2, in a pot that self-seals when the heat is lowered.

We arrived in mom's town after exactly one hour of driving...and remembered the rice pot...we hadn't turned off the heat!

We hurriedly delivered our parcels and headed back.

One more hour on the highway.

On the way back I remembered that you have been able to 'fix' mechanical things, and that I believe there is no time or distance.

I pictured the rice as just cooked and the heat turned off.

The question of 'how a person could influence molecules' did come to mind, but since I didn't and don't know how, I just thought that arranging molecules might be a human capability, a talent or connection to the universe we don't often use, pictured the rice as being nicely cooked, and rested myself...head nodding.

When we reached home the rice was lightly stuck to the bottom of the pan and a bit golden-brown on the bottom. It was nowhere near burned...after being on the heat for 2 1/4 or more hours...instead of 45 minutes!

This is just a small thing, I know, and the first time I have really believed it possible to influence material things. Moreover, I took it as possible to choose the point in time the stove would turn itself off, even though I had believed the rice was already burned by the time I remembered I had left it on.

I was not emotional in any way. Nor was I 'intense'.

I did not expect to 'wait and see' if my thoughts had 'worked', although it did cross my mind. Instead, I decided to rest because I had already done the 'intending' and envisioned the rice being only properly cooked. I didn't want to add any more 'thinking'. I did catch a pleasant scent of cooked something for a moment or two, and noted that it wasn't a 'burned' smell.

And I thought that influencing physical things was a capability that humans have which we don't use very often...or, maybe that we do, all the time, to get the results we usually experience. We are only a conglomeration of mineral salts and water, after all...plus a spark of energy.

Now to 'intend' more frequently, and to use this way for the greatest good, whether I understand what that might be, or not.

Interestingly, I am not excited about this experience...it seems natural. Maybe the rice wouldn't have burned in that length of time at that temperature, anyway. I'm not yet familiar with the stove. I don't know...but we'll see what will come next.

By the way, I've had wonderful results from eating brown rice every day or two...my long-time urinary 'urgency' has calmed right down. I feel human and quite well again...although I am still 'detoxing'. I believe it comes from brown rice being a good source of IP6...even when I eat it with a dab of butter and some 'good' salt.

Maybe some others could be helped by eating brown rice and other sources of IP6. Or, as Torrie suggests, perhaps it is from SWITCHING brown rice for wheat...though I don't eat much bread anymore...and am slowly increasing my kelp.

Amazing what simple changes can do!
