Hi Hveragherthi,

I received a call from my doctor's office yesterday saying that my most recent blood work showed an electrolyte imbalance. I wasn't really thinking grave thoughts about this until I looked that up online, and all the causes I am seeing are quite serious, including kidney failure, cancer, etc. Eeek! So, I am freaking out a little - ok, a lot. I am type 1 diabetic for 39 years now, been battling candida for at least 8, my liver is sluggy (color of whites in eyes tend towards a cream color near the bottom, but liver tests and endoscopy showed nothing amiss about 3 years ao, tho not further tested since) and I know my adrenals are weak and my thyroid is low. But, ironically, I still feel better now than I have in years, and the candida is no longer my major concern - I get small flares here and there but generally that is all. I am stessed at work. Very. I am taking Adaptocrine for the adrenals, am down to just a splash of coffee (caffeine is my heroin) and started liquid kelp to address the thyroid. I take Livatone and Livatone Plus for liver help. I add in various minerals a lot of the time, esp. mag malate. Oh, and I do the grape bitters and L-glutamine. I am using up old supplies unitl I can afford to order your formulas in a couple weeks. I guess my fear is that all these years (8) of pushing out toxins has messed up my kidneys, and my question to you is, is there anything "simple" that can cause elctrolyte imbalances? I should get the test copy in the mail in a day or 2. What would you do to address all this? I guess I am hoping you can peel me off the ceiling, but that may be a bit much to ask! :) Thanks!!
