I have a cracked crown upper left very back upper tooth #15 it was very painful when I was packing food in it when I ate so I went to my 'conventional' dentist.
When I went in to have it looked at we also discovered a black spot on my gum under # 2 (very back upper right) - He called it a pimple and wanted to keep a watch on it. He gave me choices on materials to redo the crown on # 15 and I went to a 'biological holistic' dentist to get some ideas on the materials and he also viewed the black spot and said that it is an abscessed tooth and that it needs either a re-do on the root canal or to be pulled. He believes that pulling the tooth is the healthiest option.

This would be my second failed root canal as I had # 3 pulled several years ago. This would leave me no chewing surface on that side so I am trying to sort out my options.

Also both the holistic dentist and the conventional Endodontist I called suggested antibiotics 500 mg Amoxicillin 3 X a day for 7 days. That is a hard thing for me to embrace doing but I am not sure how much, Garlic, Echinacea, Goldenseal, Colloidal Silver, Vitamin C, Probiotic or other supplements to take to knock out this infection. I just began using Super Tonic tincture (White Onion, Hawaiian Yellow Ginger root, Horseradish root, Garlic bulb and Habanero pepper)and Echinacea+ from Dr. Schulze (four droppers of Echinacea+ and two droppers of Super Tonic in 2-3 oz juice. I think I will use that 3 or 4 times a day.

I have been oil pulling with coconut oil (for about 3 weeks) and am on Day 14 of a veggie juice fast. I began the juice fast the day I visited my conventional dentist because my # 15 tooth was painful from getting food packed into it. So I have been suffering with this for 14 days and know I need to proceed with haste.

I am not sure what protocols to use right now but the one I am sure of is prayer. If any of you have been in my predicament or can offer some helps I'd be most appreciative.
